The first attempt to create a federation was back in 1987, as we understood that it was important to create an organization that could gather all the associations that were committed to defending the interests of the Roma people. Finally, in 1991, the Federation of Roma Organizations of Catalonia (FAGIC) was settled.

Our federation was created in response to the increasing number of associations and to unite us in the promotion of the Roma culture, carrying out actions for the defence of our interests.

Our main goal is to improve the actions that involve the Roma people, drawing together the aspirations and concerns of our people and establishing a channel for communication between Roma people and Catalan society.

On this website there is information about the basic guidelines according to which our organization operates, as well as the services and activities that we are currently undertaking.
